Company Vision

Unified Inbox’s vision is a world of seamless communications. We are creating a world where people can communicate with their things as easily as they do with other people — by having them as contacts in their smartphones and being able to message them on the communications channels they use most, and even selecting the best channel for each message. We are obsessed with using artificial intelligence (AI) to make machine to human (M2H) and human to machine (H2M) communications “frictionless.”

Through the power of a single, intelligent messaging Application Programming Interface (API), Unified Inbox’s UnificationEngine (UE) makes connected devices — everything from the electronics and appliances in your home to your car to the machinery and equipment in factories to the roads, tunnels, and bridges that make up our public infrastructure — IoT Messaging ready now!

While we are constantly adding new communications channels, UE-ready channels include: email, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Google+, iMessage, Instagram, KakaoTalk, LINE, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Skype, SMS, Telegram, Tumblr, Twitter, Viber, WeChat, Weibo, WhatsApp, Xing, and proprietary/secure enterprise and government communications channels.

CEO’s Vision

Thank you for creating the future with us

From selling lemonade at age six to Unified Inbox today, I have often wondered how innocent ideas create ventures which then walk a path between money and meaning.

Focus on meaning, and the idea may develop into a charity. Focus on money, and the idea may turn into a pro table business. Very rarely does a person get the opportunity to do both and be part of a small team of gifted people who discover an idea so powerful that it can change the world.

Unified Inbox is one of those ideas.

We are solving a problem that every internet user faces: the inability to effectively cope with the exponential growth of personal communication that inundates them on a daily basis. This problem is not limited to a single culture or even a specific generation. And, despite the proliferation of social media networks (over two hundred), scores of messaging and chat applications, and legacy channels such as email and text messaging, there is no viable solution in the marketplace other than Unified Inbox.

We enable our users to bring structure and meaning to the communication chaos.

Developing a powerful unified messaging platform is a grave responsibility with profound consequences for future generations. For this reason, we consider channel neutrality to be a fundamental principle of our business – independent and honest information brokering so that every one of our users has personal control of their messages and data, regardless of the channel through which it passed.

Within five years, one percent of the rapidly growing Unified Communication as a Service (UCaaS) market will be worth nearly a quarter billion dollars a year in high margin revenue.
With the help of our team, our market partners and our investors, we intend to capture a leader’s share of that market and shape the future of internet based communication.

Quarterly Guidance

January 1, 2017

The single best part of my job is hearing the excitement of our customers and partners around the world when they see our UnificationEngine™ (UE) intelligent IoT messaging platform work with their products for the very first time. Q4 was about our customers — completing their pilot projects, negotiating new commercial agreements, and identifying customer-specific use cases.

We increased website traffic and newsletter subscribers with our high-quality content marketing focused on IoT, AI, and NLP. We also received great media coverage, including my interview on Dubai Eye 103.8’s Business Breakfast and our secured IoT messaging gateway collaboration with NYP in Business Review Asia.

We can be satisfied with our business’ results this quarter as we continue to identify the UE use cases we need to close new pilot projects and commercial agreements.

Closing Thoughts

Social media is more than a rapidly expanding group of internet applications that allow the creation and exchange of user-generated content. It has become a vehicle for accelerating intellectual evolution and human expression.

Yet, despite the promise this expansion of individual power offers, it is constrained by parochial competition for market-share. The consequences are clear. Users struggle to organise, let alone find meaning, in the logarithmic growth of information at their fingertips. The ability to structure and unify has been non- existent – until now.

Unifed Inbox is a solution to a problem that is growing faster than the proliferation of web-based applications.

All portals and all information funnelled through a single, personally controlled communication channel. Beholden to no social media platform and accessible to all, it puts the user in total control of receiving, managing and disseminating information to meet his or her needs. That is the power of Unifed Inbox. An elegant solution to a complex problem. Simplicity, independence and honest brokering.

It has been an honour for me to participate in creating a revolutionary tool that will help shape our future.
